Hunt Amplification uses the most accurate biasing method:
I measure the CURRENT flowing through the output tubes, and adjust for YOUR desired tone within the safe operating range of the output stage.
This method is far superior to the "crossover notch" biasing technique and allows for more consistent tone between different sets of tubes. That said, I do look for the "proper" waveform on the scope when I measure each amp's output power.
