Complete restoration. The circuit was substantially different that the '49 Premier 88n we just overhauled, with a 6SL7 LFO and transformer mixing circuit, among other oddities. We had to replace most of the coupling caps in addition to the electrolytics, replace lots of damaged wire, and modify the circuit to use a 1k field coil speaker instead of the (long gone) original 10k.
The owner of the amp completely stripped and recovered the cabinet himself, which was undoubtedly a huge job.
