The owner had already sold this amp and just wanted it tuned up before he shipped it out. I know I'm nitpicking to some extent, but I couldn't let a Blackface Fender leave me with an over-filtered preamp supply and metal oxide plate resistors. I installed the correct value preamp filter caps with some slightly used ones I had lying around and replaced the metal oxide resistors with carbon film.
