The reservoir capacitors in this amp were replaced with values so large that they were a danger to the rectifier, especially since a 5U4 had been installed. I replaced them with the stock values, and removed all the large Solen bypass caps.
I also removed all other modifications to the circuit. Nice sounding amp with Celestion speakers.
