One of the preamp filter capacitors had failed in this amp, causing a loud motorboating sound. I've seen this problem often in newer Fenders. The owner had also purchased a "BillM" mod kit a while back, so I installed portions of the kit, including the bias adjustment trim.
I also wired the V2 triodes in parallel for a slight boost and fuller tone, and installed a 30W Weber Silver Bell speaker.
