This amp had a loud hum from a failed reservoir capacitor. I installed a new cap and ditched the weird series cap arrangement in the power supply. I also replaced the tone stack and coupling caps with a higher quality polyester film type, and installed a vintage reverb tank which really smoothed out the reverb decay.
