Replaced the electrolytic capacitors, installed a 3-prong cord, replaced a broken pot, and adjusted the bias on the 7591 outputs.
Actually sounds pretty good with the original Jensen C12Ns - clean and bright, though it lacks the power for anything but home-playing. Might be a good candidate for modification in the future.
