I replaced the blown output transformer in this amp with a mid-80's Drake.
I also converted the circuit to the classic JMP 1987 (except for the FX loop), replaced the cheap box capacitors with PVC/6PS series mylar caps, and installed tube/transformer voltage spike protection features.
One of the EL34s had lost vacuum, so I installed a pair of GTEL34Ms, which I really like in classic Marshall circuits, and threw in some better-sounding preamps as well.
