This amp came in with a footswitch problem, so I was very surprised to see that three of the power supply dropping resistors were toast! I guess they hadn't opened up completely and the amp was still able to function. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out with certainty what caused them to fry in the first place. ESR was good on all the preamp PSU caps, and the amp was very stable during a very long burn-in with the signal generator.
While I had the amp open, I fixed the speaker jack wiring flaw, as I do with all JCM2000s.
