I believe someone added a footswitch jack to actuate the "boost" feature on this amp, then later disconnected it, leaving 20" or so of shielded wire floating inside the chassis. The volume control on that channel was sloppily miswired, and a resistor that smooths the taper of the master volume was inexplicably removed. I rewired everything to stock and replaced a damaged pot.
