Spent a long time tweaking this one, in both the clean and lead channel circuitry. Installed a Celestion G12-65 and a fresh pair of TAD 6L6WGCs, which are quickly becoming my favorite new production 6L6 tube. Biased the output tubes HOT and spent some time auditioning preamp tubes. I was surprised to find that an RCA 12AX7 in V2 of all places made a world of difference. Not bad sounding at all after the modifications.
