The owner of this amp picked it up for cheap because it had a shorted power transformer.
Since the PT had to be replaced anyway, I used a lower voltage "Blackface" transformer and made the amp a true Blackface circuit with a 5AR4 rectifier.
With a new PT and rebuilt power supply, the only problem was the common "ticking" tremolo, an easy fix. Beautiful-sounding amp!
