This amp belongs to a guitarist, but the circuit is really oriented towards a bass instrument. I modified the preamp for better guitar tone, and it really sounds great. Makes almost 20W with a pair of fixed bias EL84s, and with the very efficient Eminence Legend 15" in the combo it is a LOUD little screamer. I added a negative feedback loop but later removed it - I might throw it back in depending on what the owner thinks about the modified amp. I also replaced the electrolytic capacitors as general maintenance.
